This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Provide music instruction for a summer residential music camp, including planning and delivering sectional, ensemble, and/or elective courses. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment while supporting student musicians' skill development and engagement. Collaborate with camp staff to support daily operations and ensure a safe, structured experience for all participants. Summer Music Camp Instructor - 1 week position scheduled for June 21-27, 2026 Responsibilities Plan and prepare Sectional, Ensemble and/or Elective Course(s) for Summer Music Camp Teach Sectional, Ensemble and /or Elective Course(s) during week-long summer music camp Monitor student participation and behavior during instructional time, maintaining a structured and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with camp counselors and staff to support student needs, scheduling, and transitions between activities Other Related Duties as Assigned Required Qualifications ground/Education in music (degree in music or equivalent professional Demonstrated experience teaching music in a group or classroom setting Ability to instruct students with varying skill levels and maintain an effective learning environment Desired Qualifications 3-5 years experience teaching music Experience working with high school students Experience working and communicating with people from various cultural, social, economic and educational backgrounds.
