Summer Painter (Temporary Help) Job Overview Farmington Municipal Schools is seeking motivated individuals for temporary summer positions to assist our Plant Operations team with district-wide painting projects. This is an excellent seasonal opportunity for teachers, district staff, or individuals looking for consistent summer work.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM

Wage:

$16.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, taping, and priming). Apply paint, stains, and finishes to walls, trim, and other school district structures using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Assist with moving furniture and setting up protective coverings (drop cloths, plastic) to secure work areas. Maintain clean and organized work sites, including proper cleanup and storage of painting tools and equipment. Follow all district safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, bending, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full summer schedule.
