CERTIFICATION
Applicant should possess WV certification in the areas of special education / multi-categorical with autism. In addition to appropriate certification and/or licensure, criteria to be used is contained in 18A-4-7a of WV Code.
  • Preference for currently employed PCS special education certified teachers.
ASSIGNMENT
  • Position and schedule contingent upon student attendance/ participation / need
  • To work with eligible school-age student(s) in an extended year program.
The goal of the program is to implement transition and academic instruction and instruction with self-help skills as stated in the IEP for individual student(s) as directed by the Director of Special Education.
SALARY:
Hourly rate of pay is $25.00 an hour not to exceed 35 hours a week. The position will be for 4 days a week M-Th, July 6, 2026, through July 31, 2026. Additional planning time shall be provided as needed and approved by the Director of Special Education. Holidays are not instructional or compensated days.
