Job Title:

SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial and federal construction projects in the Hampton Roads area. This role involves managing site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent will collaborate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and owners to successfully execute projects from mobilization through closeout. Responsibilities + Manage site activities for commercial and federal construction projects. + Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. + Deliver projects on schedule and within budget. + Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and owners. + Execute projects from mobilization through closeout. + Develop overall construction plans for projects, including ground-up and K-12 projects. + Lead and motivate teams on both large and small scale projects. Essential Skills + Experience in commercial construction and general contracting. + Proficiency in subcontractor management. + Experience with K-12 construction projects is a plus. + Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel. + Familiarity with project management software or similar software. + Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and lead an onsite team. + Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Higher education in construction is a plus. Work Environment This position requires working on site where weather conditions may vary. Proper attire is necessary at all times.
