Job Title:

Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Superintendent to manage the scheduling and coordination of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and quality completion of construction projects, focusing on commercial construction, including hotels, gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. Responsibilities Schedule 20+ subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion. Ensure subcontractors are executing and complying with their scope of work and correcting all deficiencies. Lead required subcontractor meetings and preconstruction meetings to coordinate the work. Perform quality control checks regarding the work performed. Identify conflicts and issues in the construction process and communicate them to the project team for resolution. Communicate with the project team regarding issues, material submittals, and requests for information (RFI). Maintain a daily log of activities on the job site through the daily reporting software. Work to meet local township requirements. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Ensure all subcontractors adhere to OSHA and Speedwell Safety Standards. Essential Skills 3 years of superintendent experience Experience in commercial construction and previous hotel projects Experience with ground-up new builds, including footers Proficiency in Procore software Experience with safety standards and general contracting Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with change orders Experience with two-week lookaheads Experience managing subcontractors Work Environment The Construction Superintendent will primarily work in South Central PA, operating at various job sites. The role involves managing projects from the field, working out of a trailer. The position requires flexibility to manage diverse projects, including hotels, gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. The company is expanding and diversifying its portfolio, offering a dynamic and growing work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manheim, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $67.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
