Job Description
Join Our Team for the Newark Air Train Project We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Newark Air Train project at Newark International Airport in Newark, NJ. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a project that will significantly impact the community and enhance the infrastructure of Newark, a vibrant city known for its rich history and proximity to New York City. Role and Responsibilities As part of our team, you will: Supervise construction efforts to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions such as scheduling and subcontractor coordination. Ensure compliance with contract documents, efficient use of materials and equipment, and timely project performance. Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings and recommending construction methods. Assist in developing project schedules, site logistics plans, and implementing project procedures and standards. Support the Site Specific Safety Plan. Coordinate with on-site Owner employees. Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors. Requirements Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is desired. 20 years of supervisory field experience with large heavy civil infrastructure construction projects valued at $200 million plus. Minimum of 10 years of construction superintendent or craft supervision experience in new building and/or structure construction, including piles, concrete, and structural steel. Knowledge and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards. Experience with City, State, and Federal Government Clients is preferred. Familiarity with contract management and local trades/unions/craft. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, and HCSS Heavy Bid. OSHA certification and First Aid certifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
