Terminal Manager

Position Description:

SalSon Logistics is seeking a driven and experienced Terminal Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Newark, NJ facility. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse and transportation operations, driving performance, and maintaining high service standards across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, understands workforce management, and is focused on continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations including receiving, shipping, and inventory control. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, supervisors, and operational teams Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and labor utilization across all shifts Monitor KPIs (productivity, safety, service levels) and implement improvements Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries Enforce safety standards, company policies, and regulatory compliance Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements Partner with HR, Safety, and Senior Leadership to align operational goals Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and overtime to control costs Oversee equipment, facility maintenance, and operational readiness Operations Managers are responsible for coordinating logistics, supervising teams, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. In warehouse environments, this includes managing inventory, shipping, and staff performance while ensuring safety and productivity .
