Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to lead residential construction and renovation projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive safety, efficiency, and excellence across multiple job sites, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape beautiful living spaces and transform renovation visions into reality through expert management and innovative problem-solving. Responsibilities Manage daily operations on residential construction and renovation sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols. Coordinate with architects, designers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project workflows. Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Microsoft Projects or similar tools; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Oversee procurement processes, including reviewing contracts and managing procurement pipelines for materials and labor resources. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with schematics and blueprints, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Lead supervising teams by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring all work meets safety regulations and quality expectations. Utilize construction estimating tools to monitor budgets; implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; interpret construction plans for effective execution. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, change orders, safety incidents, and quality control reports. Use construction site experience combined with management expertise to troubleshoot issues swiftly and keep projects on track. Skills Proven experience in construction management with a focus on residential projects and renovations. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Expertise in construction management software such as Bluebeam, or similar platforms. Familiarity with contracts administration and negotiation processes. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to residential construction sites. Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Ability to operate technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when needed. Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Experience supervising multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality control.
