Job Description
UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is looking for a Behavioral Health Supervisor to join our Early Onset Recovery Program (EORP) team! In this role, you will lead and inspire a team of six to eight clinicians committed to delivering life-changing care for individuals experiencing symptoms of psychosis. As a senior clinical leader, you will provide hands-on clinical and administrative supervision while maintaining a clinical presence through direct patient care as appropriate. You will play a pivotal role in shaping professional growth, fostering clinical excellence, and upholding evidence-based practice. Working alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary treatment team, you will collaborate to ensure seamless continuity of care and meaningful, lasting outcomes for the patients we serve. To qualify, you must hold an active clinical license (LPC or LCSW) and bring prior experience in behavioral health and leadership. This is a Monday-Friday, daytime position (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), offering a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance. Our office is conveniently located at 1330 West 26th Street, with free on-site parking and a business-casual dress code that keeps things comfortable and professional. While our work can be challenging, it is deeply rewarding—we are proud to offer a supportive and nurturing work environment where your professional growth is a top priority. If you are passionate about making a real, tangible difference in the lives of those in our community, we warmly invite you to apply today !
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical oversight and direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, individual/group therapy, documentation, and coordination with insurance and access teams in outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Collaborate with the treatment team to assess changing patient needs, recommend additional services, and refer patients to appropriate levels of care and community resources. Lead and supervise behavioral health therapists through daily work assignment, clinical and administrative supervision, performance reviews, staff training, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Support program operations by coordinating admissions, managing clinician caseloads and group census, ensuring treatment plan quality, and participating in recruitment and quality assurance initiatives. Maintain clinical productivity records, participate in performance improvement activities, and regularly communicate clinical, operational, and staffing issues with program leadership. Assume program leadership in the Director's absence as needed to ensure continuity of care, patient and staff safety, and compliance with system-wide competencies and standards.Similar remote jobs
