The Opportunity This Supervisor, Privacy Ops position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location. This is not a remote role. This role serves as a subject matter expert for Abbott's Privacy Operations, leveraging deep expertise in consumer rights, regulatory compliance, and operational processes. It is a full-time position with accountability for meeting compliance timelines, ensuring operational accuracy, and maintaining reporting integrity. What You'll Work On Oversee consumer rights processes across regions, ensuring requests are handled accurately and in line with requirements. Support and improve processes for managing and responding to individual data requests. Track incoming requests, identify potential delays, and take action to keep work on schedule. Help manage processes for handling privacy-related issues and concerns. Coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve privacy matters in a timely manner. Required Qualifications Associate's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in privacy, compliance, or a related field required Strong working knowledge of privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust), including configuration and day-to-day administration Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain concepts to a range of audiences Experience working with cross-functional partners, including regular interaction with senior stakeholders Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Professional privacy certification preferred (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or similar) Experience conducting or supporting incident management investigations, including documentation and follow-through to resolution Working understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and the broader compliance landscape (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) Exposure to or experience applying project management principles, with the ability to track and support multiple concurrent initiatives Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
