Operating under the direction of the Director this position oversees a warehouse team that is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing and maintaining the inventory of school supplies, food products, and purchased goods for all District administration and school sites. Working through established purchasing processes and calendar cycles warehouse staff perform duties through specific work orders and regularly scheduled deliveries. Duties include managing supplies based on expiration dates and first-in, first-out processes while assisting with annual and other regular inventory counts. The Supervisor also perform duties related to ensuring the safe storage, disposal, and record keeping of products with OSHA regulatory oversite. Supervisor duties include a variety of Human Resources functions including interviewing, discipline, and evaluations. This role also oversees warehouse workers assigned the District's twice-daily internal mail pick-up/delivery services. The Warehouse Supervisor may assign a variety of duties as needed including the transportation and pick-up equipment for various District events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Job Responsibility Descriptions 1. Warehouse workers are responsible for receiving supply deliveries at the two main warehouses, verifying in-coming orders per purchase orders, checking for discrepancies and processing returns, if necessary. The Warehouse Supervisor guides the warehouse team unloading incoming delivery trucks, and following established storage procedures per District, state, and Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) requirements. Warehouse workers are also the primary employees handling disbursements overseeing the District's daily deliveries of all supplies and special orders throughout 45+ sites. Overseeing the daily warehouse operations and monitoring regular supply stocks by running daily/weekly and monthly reports using District software. This employee assigns team members fulfilling electronic and paper order requests; verifying orders, boxing and marking all outgoing supply orders. The Warehouse Supervisor maintains and revises the daily delivery schedule to all sites and is responsible for updating the on-line stores catalog. This position conducts a mid-year and end-of-year inventory in the main warehouse. 2. In addition, internal mail processes require a twice daily pick-up and delivery cycle in order to service district sites. Using the Administrative complex mailroom operations, the Supervisor ensures both pick-up and delivery duties that includes internal documents, school's bank deposits, as well as out-going US postal items are covered. Employee will also make bank deposits for the District as requested. Employees tasked with internal mail deliveries must work collaboratively with the mailroom receptionist in order to communicate any delivery issues or scheduling changes that may affect staff. 3. Employee assists with all aspects of the hiring, discipline, and training of Warehouse Workers. Warehouse Supervisor directly oversees the supervision of crew/team in accordance with the District policies and applicable laws. Supervising and evaluating staff is conducted in the framework of the District's and department's goals and Supervisor expectations include a variety of human resources responsibilities but not limited to: Participate with interviewing, hiring, training, promoting, planning, and assigning work, Conducting performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employee conduct, Assisting with approving and correcting TimeClock reporting and vacation time-off requests. 4. Warehouse employees are also assigned duties via internal work-orders. Duties under this responsibility includes the pick-up, moving, delivery, setting up and tearing down of a variety of items for instance; folding tables, folding chairs, pianos and risers per work orders. District events often require the pickup, transport, and unloading of band instruments, stands, chairs and miscellaneous equipment for concerts. Other transportable items may include transferring physical education gear including gymnastic equipment, bowling sets and physio balls from school to school.Note:
Warehouse Workers hold an expectation to follow District lifting techniques and policies. Other work order delivery duties are centered around the pick-up, transport and disposal of out dated or excessive property. 5. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse is a high expectation of this role. This employee is responsible for maintaining warehouse trucks, trailer, forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks for daily use.Note:
Larger equipment and vehicle repair/ maintenance are processed through established District procedures. 6. Overseeing the pickup, storage, and disposal of the District's Administrative long-term records is a part of this position. As directed and following human resources processes for financial, student, and employee record storage this role assists in this sensitive process. Perform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required with a preference given for AA Degree or higher- ; Minimum two years prior experience in inventory logistics, purchasing, or materials delivery required;
- Preference given for prior supervisory experience with increasing responsibilities; Preference given for applicants with prior school district experience.
- (Acceptable education and experience credit equivalent will be at the sole discretion of the District).
CERTIFICATIONS
Criminal background check required for hire, Valid Colorado driver's license required for hire, Operating knowledge of inventory ordering system within 30 days of hire, District small vehicle permit required within 30 days of hire, Commercial driver's license (Class B) required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire; Must successfully pass 50# lifting test upon hire Forklift certification preferred at hire or required within 30 days of hire Attend and successfully complete all professional development training as required by law, or as directed by Supervisor.TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Legal Knowledge - This position must possess a working knowledge of, promote and enact several federal, state, and District policies, standards, procedures, regarding environmental and public safety compliance regulations. This position is responsible for supporting District personnel in understanding and abiding by legal and ethical boundaries as outlined in: Hazardous Waste-Rules and Regulations Governing Schools in The State of Colorado (6CCR 1010-6); Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA 2015); Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA, 2004); Title VI of the Civil Rights Act (1964). Other Knowledge - professional expectations include but are not limited to: Exceptional ability to teach, coach, and mentor adults and staff new to the District and warehouse services; Well-developed ability to work both independently and interdependently within a team and with minimal direction and/or supervision, Well-developed ability to work around large, loud gatherings of students of all ages, Well-developed ability to use de-escalation techniques and to defuse stressful and possibly volatile situations; Strong oral communication skills in English; oral bi-lingual skills English/Spanish are desirable, Strong customer service and interpersonal relationship building skills, Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills; Ability to understand and follow OSHA's Safety & Data Sheet protocols and regulations; Ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions in a timely manner; Ability to be adaptable and flexible with collaborative critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities; Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job; especially as related to personnel issues; Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, building and department procedures; Ability to lead, communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.; Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, and to resolve/report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Administrator.MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE
Operating knowledge of and experience with personal computers and peripherals; Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office G-Suite, preferred; Operating knowledge of and experience with typical office equipment, such as copier, scanner, fax machine, etc.; Operating knowledge of a front-end loader, skidsteer, forklift, dump truck, and other heavy equipment.
