SUPPLY TECHNICIAN
(Title 32) with the Texas Nional Guard, your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Organizes the meriel control activities required to ensure effective organizional supply support (to include expendables and non-expendables) to the Comb Communicions Squadron. Determines, analyzes, coordines, plans and formules annual budget submissions for operions and maintenance funds. Forecasts future supply and equipment requirements based on coordinion with plans and programs personnel and higher management echelons. Receives and valides funds allocions for the unit. Records expenditures and maintains current on-hand balances. Reconciles Project Funds Management (PFMR) documents for the unit and provides financial accounting da, expenditure res, forecasts of financial accounting da, expenditure res, and forecasts of financial position to the commander. Valides one-time buy forecasts and requests. Serves as the focal point for zero overpricing monitoring and maintains records, documention and final determinion of price challenges. Serves as the unit single point of contact for the depot level supported programs. Establishes procedures, monitors, corrects, and provides oversight to the unit's managed supply programs. Maintains current financial da and balances of managed supply programs. Maintains current financial da and balances of supply program stus, to include critical items, th impact the equipment's ability to deploy, and overall unit's readiness. Ensures real-time pricing updes are maintained depot administrive pricing agencies. Forecasts unit supply costs based upon pricing options within a managed supply program. Advises supervisor, on financial stus of the managed supply program and ensures adeque funding is available to support the maintenance complex. Advises maintenance work center personnel on the stus of items and traces turn-ins to due-outs to effect optimizion of available funding and spares within the supply system. Analyzes each transaction to ensure proper credit/debit balances have been applied. Tracks stus to ensure timely receipt of items impacting equipment readiness. Acquires requirements th identify increased operional tempo and analyzes managed supply program financial position to provide required support. Serves as a member of unit resource advisory panel/group. Establishes and implements procedures to effectively provide for all maintenance requirements. Provides organizional supply support in mters pertaining to unit equipment transactions and requirements. Establishes, institutes, and monitors follow-up systems to ascertain current stus of priority demands and follow-up requests. Coordines and verifies consumable requirements and researches alternive locions to sisfy supply demand. Analyzes and takes required follow-up action with identified outside agencies regarding delayed discrepancies which require parts th are identified on support system documents. Provides alternive solutions, in accordance with applicable directives, when action is in the overall best interest of the mission. Serves as the focal point for maintenance complex supply and supply reled activities. V Manages, implements, and executes programs in support of the mobility support requirements. Designed as the single point of contact between mobility work centers and the meriel management branch of servicing base supply. Manages, directs, and analyzes the operion of the units' mobility storage facilities. Coordines all Asset Management meriel requirements with work centers, unit mobility personnel, Flight Chiefs, unit commander and base supply. Valides addition, removal, and deletion of Asset Management items in accordance with guidance from higher management echelons in order to sisfy Mission Capability (MICAP) priority requirements, leral support requirements, and other nonstandard requests. Coordines and maintains written correspondence with approprie supporting base supply activity to establish bench stock determinion and composition of supply points and establishment and adjustment of levels on items within the base supply to support maintenance complex requirements. May supervise one full-time employee. Grants leave, counsels, prepares and writes performance appraisals, and inities disciplinary action. Schedules work production and training for 1 to 3 drill stus guardsmen. Makes necessary adjustments to work plans, assignments, and methods of accomplishing assigned tasking. Performs other duties as assigned.
