Job Description

Description SALARY:
$60,000-70,000 base salary plus bonus based on performance
JOB SUMMARY
Advanced Pain Care is looking for a Surgical Care Coordinator to help in our growing company. This position specializes in helping guide the patient through spinal cord stimulation and the technologies involved. The Navigator will assist the patient in overcoming obstacles that are in the way of the patient receiving the care and treatment they require.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and present well in a formal business environment as well as in the clinic. Highly organized and strong attention to detail Must possess a strong understanding of healthcare facilities and processes STIM experience highly preferred Experience as a Device Clinical Specialist Preferred Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare required, preferably in one of the fields below; Nursing Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Previous medical sales experience highly preferred Candidates should thrive on meeting and exceeding goals
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules patients for pre-op, post-op and follow-up office visits related to SCS Conducts phone follow-up calls and keeps phone journals for patients who have had SCS implants Reconciles weekly cases with medical device representatives Prepares patients materials for procedures Collaborates with scheduling and pre-authorization teams regarding upcoming procedures Reprograms patient devices when necessary Adheres to all Advanced Pain Care and departmental policies Displays regular and predictable attendance Completes other job duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Basic knowledge of how a healthcare organization operates. Ability to comprehend speech and effectively communicate with others. Must understand, follow, and convey written and oral instructions. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Compliance with the attendance policy. Compliance with continuing and mandatory education programs. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to function independently without constant supervision. Enthusiastic personality and high motivation to excel and grow within the company. Physical Conditions:
Generally, works normal office hours but may sometimes work evenings or weekends Generally, works normal office hours but may sometimes work evenings or weekends Must be able to drive to a variety of locations to conduct work Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to bend, stoop and stretch Must be able to lift and move boxes and other items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment, etc.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS
Direct Supervision:
Reports to the Director of Neuromodulation.
