The Successful Candidate:

High School Graduate or GED required Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program Certification, National Board of Surgical Technology preferred Previous Experience as a Surgical Technology New Graduates welcome! Good communication skills and the ability to take care of the customer's needs while following company procedures Ability to work independently and accept responsibility and account for his/her actions

Essential Job Functions:

Gathers, checks and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure Sets up sterile field Assists the team member with gowning and gloving Participates in the surgical site and patient verification during the time out procedure Assists the surgeon during the procedure as needed Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient At NRH, we want to ensure your needs are met.
