Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is searching for an experienced surgical technologist or OR nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This position requires versatility and a strong background in perioperative care, as you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams in oral and maxillofacial surgery at busy outpatient centers.

Schedule:

13-week contract Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00

PM Required Skills & Experience:

Experience in operating room technology, surgical technology (certified or non-certified), or as an OR nurse (ORT) Ability to prepare operating rooms for surgery and ensure all sterile procedures are followed Strong understanding of surgical instruments and their proper use Previous experience supporting oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures is highly preferred Capacity to support multiple locations efficiently, with primary assignment to Inverness or Hoover OMS clinics

Duties:

Assist surgeons during operative procedures by arranging instruments and maintaining a sterile field Prepare patients and operating rooms before surgery Collaborate closely with surgical and nursing staff throughout all phases of care Handle, clean, and maintain surgical equipment according to protocols Track counts of surgical instruments and supplies to support patient safety
