Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional perioperative care as an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse in a high-acuity surgical environment. This contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to demonstrate your clinical expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to patient safety within a dynamic surgical team.
Schedule/Hours:
6:34 AM - 5:15
PM Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience Solid knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, aseptic technique, and surgical procedures Proven ability to circulate and/or scrub various OR cases independently Current BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to remain composed and effective in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Prepare OR suites and ensure all required instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready and sterile Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team to deliver safe, effective care Employ best practices for infection control, patient advocacy, and documentation Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly during procedures Monitor patient status and respond quickly to any intraoperative complications Educate and support patients and families on perioperative processes
