Your expertise in sushi preparation, knife skills, and ingredient selection will elevate our dining experience. . As a Sushi Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain proper storage, handling, and freshness of ingredients to uphold food safety standards. Manage mise en place for daily service, including portioning ingredients and organizing workstation for optimal efficiency. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus that balance creativity with operational practicality. Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, ingredient sourcing, and presentation styles. Demonstrated ability to develop new recipes and adapt to evolving culinary trends. Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety standards. Experience working with diverse teams in dynamic kitchen settings. Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation practices.
