Support menu planning by suggesting innovative sushi options and seasonal specials. Handle food items carefully, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and waste management. Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to uphold a clean and safe kitchen environment. Skills Proven experience in sushi preparation, fine dining, or culinary environments with a focus on Japanese cuisine. Strong knife skills for precise slicing and cutting of fish and vegetables. Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Previous restaurant or dietary aide experience is highly desirable.
