About Us Endpoint Industrial Controls is an automation and controls company serving a wide range of industries from renewables to oil and gas, to manufacturing. We offer full scope electrical and mechanical engineering and design of control systems from a single panel to plant sized custom process and control systems. With our
UL 508A/698A/891/67
certified panel shop we can design and certify panels to these UL standards internally. At Endpoint we work hard to turn projects around quickly and efficiently while maintaining excellent quality of work. Our diverse backgrounds help us in finding creative solutions for our customers. Job description We are looking for someone to add to our switchboard assembly team to perform mechanical assembly of final assemblies using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes and procedures on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow work orders, read and interpret production drawings and complex blueprints, and have a willingness to go the extra mile to work with other team members to find solutions and present them to their direct reports Assist in the assembly of UL891 Switchboards with the use of a 3D model, from the frames, to the busbar to the breakers and stickers. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the manufacturing facility Communicate professionally and respectfully with other team members to ensure a good work environment Work to report on issues, malfunctions and defective parts to our manufacturing and engineering teams.
Requirements and Skills:
One year of mechanical assembly experience is required Must have experience using hand tools/power tools/machines Must be able to assemble things from a 3D model and understand how pieces go together Good understanding of quality control principles Good communication skills Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Ability to work on feet for large portions of the day
