The position combines electrical, mechanical, and system-level work with close collaboration alongside Army stakeholders and internal engineering teams, offering direct impact on ground vehicle modernization programs. Support system testers by preparing lab configurations, setting up test scenarios, and ensuring systems are ready for functional and integration testing. Coordinate closely with Army customers, program stakeholders, and internal engineering teams to align lab configurations with current vehicle baselines and requirements. Manage lab configuration documentation, including updating drawings, wiring diagrams, and configuration records to reflect current system states. Provide professional communication and documentation of test results, findings, and issues, ensuring clear traceability and feedback to engineering teams. Apply strong technical curiosity and a customer-service mindset to proactively identify improvements in lab setups, integration processes, and troubleshooting approaches. Support occasional travel to test centers or partner facilities to assist with system integration, testing, or troubleshooting activities as needed. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. 8+ years of engineering experience following completion of a degree. Hands-on experience in a Systems Integration Lab environment supporting C5ISR or similar complex electronic systems. Experience with communication protocols including CAN bus, Ethernet, and RS-232/Serial. Demonstrated ability to perform electrical, mechanical, and system-level troubleshooting in a lab or vehicle electronics environment. Experience with lab configuration management, including maintaining and updating drawings, wiring diagrams, and configuration documentation. Strong ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal multidisciplinary teams in a customer-facing setting. Professional verbal and written communication skills, including clear documentation of test procedures, results, and issues. Ability to obtain or hold an active DoD Secret security clearance, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship, as required for access to certain defense-related systems and facilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Army ground combat vehicle electronics or similar military vehicle platforms. Familiarity with C4ISR systems such as Blue Force Tracking (BFT), SINCGARS, and WIN-T. Experience with embedded or vehicle computing systems including multifunction displays (MFDs), power distribution units (PDUs), and vision systems. Experience in automated testing, simulation, or emulation of complex electronic or C5ISR systems. Prior experience in a U.S. Army Military Occupational Specialty related to communications or networking (for example, 25B, 25H, 25F, 25N, 25U, 255N, or similar). Demonstrated comfort working in a highly hands-on, mission-critical environment where lab readiness and system uptime are essential. Strong technical curiosity and a proactive mindset toward learning new systems, tools, and integration techniques. Work Environment This position is 100% on-site in a customer-facing role, with the majority of time spent in a Systems Integration Lab working directly with C5ISR and ground vehicle electronics. You will operate in a collaborative team environment that supports U.S. Army programs and ground vehicle modernization efforts. The work is highly hands-on rather than desk-only, involving regular interaction with lab equipment, integration benches, and vehicle-representative systems. Travel requirements are minimal, with less than 5% travel to test centers or partner facilities.
