Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a T-Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse clinical settings. This vital role involves providing high-quality nursing services, supporting patient recovery, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Whether working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities, you will be at the forefront of patient health and well-being. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections with precision, including IV infusions and medication administration tailored to each patient's needs. Assist with complex procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding, and sterile processing to support optimal patient outcomes. Manage acute pain and provide specialized care for patients in emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICU), or trauma centers, ensuring rapid response to critical situations. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and case management. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and interpret diagnostic imaging results such as sonography or mammography when applicable. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies to promote seamless patient transitions across care settings. Requirements Valid T-Registered Nurse license in accordance with state or national licensing boards. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, telemetry units, or outpatient clinics. Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures including ventilator management, airway management, and infection control practices. Familiarity with advanced medical technologies like dialysis machines, cardiac catheterization equipment, and neurodiagnostic tools such as spinal taps or sonography. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Experience working with special populations including pediatrics, geriatrics (including memory care and dementia), behavioral health patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma environments; experience in post-acute care or hospice & palliative medicine is a plus.
