Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring hourly and skilled production talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with workforce planning needs. The position partners closely with operations leadership, HR, and external staffing partners to meet aggressive hiring targets and maintain workforce stability

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage full cycle recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, and support roles in a high-volume manufacturing setting Execute high-volume hiring strategies to meet daily, weekly, and monthly staffing targets Source candidates through job boards, social media, community partnerships, job fairs, and staffing agencies Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate onsite or virtual interviews with hiring managers Facilitate hiring events, open interviews, and rapid onboarding initiatives Maintain and track candidate pipelines using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and shift demands Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding documentation Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and turnover rates Build and maintain relationships with local workforce development programs, technical schools, and community organizations Support employer branding initiatives to attract talent in competitive labor markets Provide regular updates and reporting to HR leadership and operations teams
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience working with staffing agencies and contingent workforce management Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Experience conducting hiring events and job fairs Knowledge of manufacturing roles such as assemblers, machine operators, and maintenance technicians High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Relationship-building and stakeholder management Problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment Data-driven decision-making and reporting
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered 2-5 years of recruiting experience in manufacturing and/or high-volume environments Experience with high-volume hiring (25+ hires per month preferred) Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, ATS systems, and sourcing techniques Familiarity with employment laws and hiring compliance requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This is an office-based role. Standard business hours with some deadlines requiring additional availability. Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
