With our newly expanded taproom(s) opening soon, we're creating a destination where great beer, spirits, and hospitality come together. For many guests, the taproom is their first taste of our brand, and we want that experience to be unforgettable. We're looking for energetic, guest‑focused Taproom Bartenders who love craft beverages, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional service. If you're passionate about beer, spirits, and creating memorable moments, you'll fit right in. You'll work closely with our Taproom Manager and be a key part of the Newport Craft experience. What You'll Do Serve craft beverages — Pour draft beer, craft cocktails, spirits, packaged products, and sell merchandise with confidence and enthusiasm. Create memorable guest experiences — Share the Newport Craft story and guide guests through our beer and spirits lineup. Maintain a welcoming environment — Keep the bar, taproom, outdoor spaces, and restrooms clean and inviting. Handle glassware + sanitation — Wash, sanitize, and maintain glassware to taproom standards. Support inventory + merch — Assist with merchandise organization and stock levels. Represent the brand — Maintain professional appearance and uphold Newport Craft's hospitality standards. What You Bring Bartending experience — 1+ year in craft beer/spirits bartending or 2+ years general bar experience preferred (but not required). Craft beverage knowledge — Understanding of flavors, styles, and ingredients. Strong people skills — Warm, professional communication with guests and coworkers. Organizational ability — Able to juggle tasks, prioritize, and stay efficient. Sound judgment — Make informed decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Physical capability — Stand for long periods, lift up to 55 lbs, and move kegs up to ~165 lbs. Schedule flexibility — Weekends and extended shifts as needed.
