The Role We are looking for people passionate about both success and the product to join our Task Team to support our Grow Team to produce top quality products. Being detail oriented, a team player, and good at communicating is the name of the game on the Task Team. A desire to analyze your own work under a microscope and make adjustments on the fly is a plus! This role requires consistent collaboration with our experienced grow staff and our order fulfillment team to deliver best in class products. Responsibilities Support the Grow Team in tasks as needed including but not limited to defoliating plants, harvesting crops, cleaning rooms after a harvest, and bucking product for final processing Communicate with support teams and management continuously regarding process changes required from crop to crop Escalate issues identified in rooms or in the facility to the grow team or management Support other grow tasks as needed including spraying for pest management or moving plants around the grow rooms or facility Trim final product as needed and package for order fulfillment Timely completion of work per schedule and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow Keep documented logs and notes of task metrics and plant care actions for company records Maintain clean grow rooms and workspaces at all times by regularly sanitizing tools, equipment, and grow rooms to ensure sanitary practices and to keep pests away Use PPE as required: gloves, lab coat, tinted eye protection Perform all other duties as necessary and any additional duties assigned by your supervisor/manager Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team Be a reliable team player Positive attitude day in and day out Work effectively with minimal supervision Ability to work well under pressure Experience in an agricultural setting is a plus, but not required Marijuana product knowledge and passion is a plus, but not required Serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures Have strong service and quality focus. Address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand the root cause, then communicate / educate the team in a timely manner. Additional Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must be able to work overtime as needed Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Physical Demands- Must be able to: Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day besides breaks and lunch Work in crouched or uncomfortable positions including repetitive motions for extended periods of time Work in the dark with only green lamps for several hours at a time Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Regularly move up to 30 lbs Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be physical labor Sunday
