We take pride in crafting wines and beers with a personal touch, offering our guests an authentic, intimate experience that larger operations simply can't match. Our tasting room is where that story comes to life — and we're looking for someone special to help tell it. What you'll do Welcome guests and create warm, memorable tasting room experiences Lead wine and beer tastings, sharing the Gold Hill story with enthusiasm Educate guests on our wines, varietals, and winemaking practices Drive wine club memberships and retail sales through genuine hospitality Handle point-of-sale transactions and maintain a clean, well-stocked tasting room Collaborate closely with our winemaker and team to stay current on new releases and vineyard happenings Assist with events and special tastings as needed What we're looking for Passion for wine, hospitality, and connecting with people Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, outgoing personality A true team player — we're a small, close-knit crew and a collaborative spirit is a must Ability to work respectfully and enthusiastically alongside our winemaker and fellow staff Wine knowledge or tasting room experience is a plus — we're happy to train the right person Comfort with wine club membership sales and guest engagement Availability Thursday through Sunday (required), including holidays Able to lift 50 lbs Must be 21+ and hold or be willing to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification Reliable transportation to El Dorado County This is a long-term position — we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just fill a shift Compensation and Perks Minimum wage + tips DOE- pay scales with experience Employee wine discounts Fun, family atmosphere
