Job Description:
Our client firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to serve as a key liaison between partners, clients, and staff while overseeing multiple tax engagements. This role manages workflow, scheduling, and staffing, while ensuring high-quality client service and on-time deliverables. Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships and complex tax engagements from planning through delivery Research and resolve complex tax issues and communicate implications to clients Prepare detailed client correspondence, recommendations, and proposals Monitor project budgets, staffing, and engagement timelines Develop industry expertise while maintaining strong generalist tax knowledge Mentor, train, and supervise tax staff, including performance feedback Identify opportunities to expand services and support business development Collaborate closely with leadership on client and team matters Qualifications 5+ years of tax experience in a public accounting setting preferably with a Trusts & Estates tax focus for wealthy families or individuals as well as general corporate return preparation with partnerships, C & S Corps. BS/BA in Accounting, CPA, or in progress preferred 1+ year supervising or directing tax staff Strong technical tax research and writing skills Excellent communication, leadership, and client service abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills Ideal Candidate A proactive, strategic professional who values integrity, teamwork, excellence, and professionalism, and thrives in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
