Ste or Territory Certificion/License Requirement:

A valid fully professional ste teaching license in content areas or the ste's equivalent (as DoDEA determines comparable to DoDEA's teacher cegories) accepted as fulfilling all qualificions for professional teaching educion and certificion in content areas. To receive full reciprocity the license must be unencumbered, which means a license th is not revoked, suspended, or made probionary or conditional by the ste licensing board of educion. The Praxis I and II or seven years of teaching the Prek-12 level can be substituted in lieu of an unencumbered license and will require all minimum educion requirements, a student teaching/internship and full qualificion standards must all be met. Applicant's claiming military spouse preference under the MSLRA will receive considerion for an encumbered license.

Minimum Academic Preparion and Requirements:

At least a conferred bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution is required. Academic preparion of least 40 semester hours (SH) in general educion course work distributed over such fields as English, history, social studies, mhemics, fine arts, languages, science, philosophy, and psychology is required. In addition, a minimum of 18 SH of professional teacher educion course work in such areas as learning process, tests and measurement, educional philosophy, psychology, social foundions, methods of teaching and curriculum applicable to the type and level of the position for which applying is required. The DoDEA Licensure Unit will evalue ste teaching certifices and official transcripts before final job offers are made.

Minimum Educion Requirement:

A minimum of 24 semester hours of course work in the field of digital media communicions. Course work must include a minimum of 12 semester hours in upper-level digital media content.

AND Specialized Experience:

A minimum of 3 years in a digital media communicions center or professional studio workplace. You evalued on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to Detail Educion and Training Planning and Evaluing Teaching Others Technical Competence Educion Foreign Degrees and Course Work from Non-accredited Institutions. Credits or degrees earned from a foreign college or university must be evalued prior to acceptance.
