Job Description

Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in a contract position. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for a dedicated educator with a passion for providing guidance to visually impaired learners in a school-based setting. You'll collaborate with staff and families near the Manor, TX area, designing and delivering instruction to foster independence and success for your students.
Qualifications:
Valid state teaching certification for Visually Impaired Teacher or endorsement Experience working with children or young adults who are visually impaired or blind Strong understanding of Braille, assistive technology, and accessible instructional strategies Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to create individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Flexibility to adapt to varying classroom and learning environments
Responsibilities:
