Valid AL Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, BS Degree or higher, endorsed in General Science grades 6-12, must meet the ESSA (NCLB) Highly Qualified Criteria if applicable, or such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
