Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics is required. Successful completion of Praxis II test #5266. Active South Carolina Educator Teaching Certification in Secondary Physics or Science with an AP endorsement. Professional Certification Endorsement (30-hour training) is preferred; exceptional candidates with all other requirements will be considered. Previous experience in general education or advanced placement (AP) teaching roles is highly valued. Outstanding communication and classroom management skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in a rigorous academic setting.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in General Education and AP Physics courses. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning needs. Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback. Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and academic excellence. Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to achieve departmental goals. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
