• O'Darby's Discount Beverage is a retailer of Fine Wine, Spirits, and Craft Beer located in Rock Hill, Landrum, and Taylors, SC.

This position is for our Landrum location.

Job responsibilities include:

Desire to be part of a performance-driven team Assist in managing the flow of day-to-day operations Assist in the training of associates and providing Team Members with daily objectives Develop and implement reward systems to motivate employee productivity communicating with upper management to determine the best methods for meeting daily, weekly and monthly business goals Boost team performance and employee retention rates through strong communication and empathy skills Monitor team members' participation to ensure everyone has proper training and provide any additional training if needed Determine the completion timelines and monitor progress to keep the projects on track and on schedule Working the retail floor talking with customers about wine, spirits, and beer Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register Receive cash from customers and give correct change Experience, Education, & Skills required include: Exemplary attendance record Advanced knowledge in common Microsoft Office applications

• primarily Excel and Word. You MUST have a working knowledge of Excel given the amount work we do on the platform Strong organizational skills for managing the flow of day-to-day operations.
• 1 year managerial or supervisory experience (preferred) The ability to multi task, effectively communicate with team members, and upper management The ability to develop, implement and assess performance metrics.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures Understanding of safety practices and general best practices Strong customer service skills including a friendly, outgoing personality.

Previous Point of Sale/Retail experience is also helpful. Applicants must pass a drug test and must have a valid driver's license.
