Technical Account Manager - Elk Grove Village, IL $95,000 - $105,000 + Full Benefits + PTO We are a growing and well-established manufacturing company specializing in highly engineered and customized technical products used across a variety of industrial applications. We are currently looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, technically minded, and enjoys working directly with industrial and OEM customers to provide tailored product solutions. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and be excited to manage relationships while driving new business opportunities. What You'll Be Doing Manage and grow relationships with OEM and industrial customers within assigned territories. Develop quotations, pricing, and product recommendations based on customer applications and technical requirements. Follow up on opportunities and help drive projects through completion. Prospect and develop new business through inbound leads, trade shows, website inquiries, referrals, and additional outreach efforts. Communicate directly with engineers, maintenance teams, and purchasing departments regarding technical applications and customized product solutions. Review blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate product selection and order processing. Support independent representatives and distribution partners throughout the sales process. Partner internally with engineering, production, and customer support teams to ensure a high level of service and responsiveness. Maintain organized account activity, project updates, and customer communication. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. 2+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or industrial/manufacturing environments. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered products and customer applications. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/software systems. Someone who is motivated, solutions-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment. •Corporate Resources has been hired by our client to recruit for this open position and any/all other positions as requested and posted.
