DATE REVISED PRIMARYPURPOSE
Installation, repair, and maintenance computers and all related technology hardware and software within the District. This also includes usersupport, wiring needs for all locations, network connectivity troubleshooting and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONCERTIFICATION • High school diploma or GED • Industry Certification in one the following specializationsrequired. o Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Enterprise Desktop Administrator o Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Enterprise Desktop Support Technician o CompTIA A+ Certification o Cisco Telephone Certification o CCTV Certification o BICSI or Levitron Cabling Certification o Options Certification
SPECIALKNOWLEDGESKILLS
Experience with technology hardware and software, and basic network operations; ability to meet and work with people in a positive, friendly, and helpful manner;skilled in organizational and time management. Sensitivity and flexibility in working with adults and students. Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES ANDDUTIES
. Provide dedicated technology support to the districtstudents, faculty, and staff. . Keep track technology equipment that are in and out warranty, and coordinate repairs. . Provide consistent application and implementation all hardware and software. . Provide assistance to technology users when software or hardware problems occur. . Provide first levelsupport training to technology users. This would include how to turn the computers on, connect to the network and devices, and how to bring up applications. . Provide users with optimalsystem performance and reduce technology repair needs by regularly performing preventativemaintenance. . Support and maintain all technology and peripherals such as monitors, projectors,scanners, cameras, printers, telephones, etc. . Schedule and complete work order requests and update status for each. . Oversee and perform continuous monitoring equipment for immediate discovery malfunctions and inaccurate operation and programming, during assigned shift. . Prepare technical data and specificationsfor inclusion in equipment installation, maintenance and operational publications and training material.

Technology Support Technician . Evaluate equipment performance. Prepare reports including recommendations for design and operational improvement the equipment. . Provide technology wiring support, including installation and repair cabling, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting. . Work with district contractorsto ensure the proper operation district technology systems and installation of new systems. . Maintain and update district access control system. . Mandatory training and certification in job duties will be required. . All other duties as assigned.
