Position Overview
The Red Creek Central School District is seeking an innovative and student-centered Technology Teacher to serve students at the Middle School and High School levels. The successful candidate will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help students develop skills in design, engineering, technology systems, and problem solving. This position provides an opportunity to build upon existing programming while helping expand technology and career-connected learning opportunities for students.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction for middle and high school students in technology-related fields.
Utilize project-based and experiential learning strategies to promote creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving.
Develop and implement curriculum aligned with current industry practices and emerging technologies.
Maintain and manage a safe and organized technology learning environment including equipment, tools, and materials.
Assess student learning and provide feedback to support skill development and growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary and STEM learning opportunities.
Support and enhance existing technology programming while identifying opportunities for program expansion.
Build partnerships with local businesses, industry professionals, and community organizations to provide authentic learning experiences.
Explore opportunities to develop dual-credit or college-level coursework in partnership with local colleges.

Job Qualifications
Qualifications
Appropriate New York State certification in Technology Education (or eligible for certification).
Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualities
Experience designing and implementing hands-on, project-based learning experiences.
Demonstrated interest in growing and enhancing technology programming.
Ability to network and develop partnerships within the local community and industry.
Interest in developing college-credit or career-connected learning opportunities for students.
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to continuous professional learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
