Work you'll do As an Actuarial Sr. Consultant on the Insights, Innovation & Operate team, you will provide strategic and technical consulting services to health plans, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, and federal and state government clients.
  • Lead teams that evaluate the strategic direction of health insurers, including pricing, market entry, network strategy, and cost of care initiatives to drive performance
  • Develop structured query language (SQL) models to price health plan benefit changes, network changes, or other detailed claims analytics
  • Review Medicare Advantage and Part D bid submissions for accuracy and consistency
  • Model lapse and retention rates and prepare results for client review
  • Build return on investment models for medical management and other health plan initiatives
  • Prepare incurred but not reported (IBNR) modeling spreadsheets for audit reviews and support project management activities, including work plans, reports, and client presentations A successful candidate would possess these skills:
