Job Description

Actuary Los Angeles, CA Full-time Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuary to join our team in Los Angeles, California. The Actuary will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to determine the financial impact of potential risks and uncertainties for our organization. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate financial data to determine potential risks and uncertainties for the organization Develop and maintain actuarial models and tools to forecast and assess financial outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on risk management strategies Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to actuarial science and healthcare Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Provide guidance and support to junior team members, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in actuarial software and tools, such as Excel, SAS, and SQL Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
