Job Description

DW Simpson is seeking an Actuarial Associate to support client engagements across insurance, consulting, and corporate sectors. In this role, you will analyze actuarial data, support pricing, reserving, and risk modeling projects, and prepare clear reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with senior actuaries and recruiters to interpret results, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations. This position offers exposure to a wide range of actuarial disciplines, professional mentorship, and clear opportunities for growth in a collaborative, ethics-driven environment. Responsibilities Analyze actuarial data to support pricing, reserving, and risk assessments Assist in building and maintaining actuarial models and tools Prepare reports, exhibits, and presentations summarizing findings Support senior actuaries on client projects across insurance and consulting Conduct experience studies and trend analyses using large datasets Validate and reconcile data from multiple internal and external sources Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret analytical results Contribute to process improvements and documentation of methodologies Required Skills Actuarial modeling Loss reserving Pricing analysis Excel SQLR or Python Data visualization Insurance product knowledge Experience studies Report writing
