Your Opportunity Work alongside full-time actuarial analysts and contribute to the same core activities that support actuarial decision making. This role is ideal for a student ready to connect classroom learning with real data, analysis, and indications. What You'll Do Clean and prepare data for actuarial analysis.
Support standard actuarial analyses and indications.
Complete Excel-based analytical work.
Apply coding skills, where helpful, to improve or support analysis. What You'll Bring Must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
Strong quantitative and analytical foundation.
Interest in learning through hands-on actuarial work.
Coding experience in any language is helpful but not required; prior advanced Excel experience is not required. What You'll Gain Direct experience working with actuarial analysts.
Exposure to real insurance datasets and actuarial methods.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited college or university with a focus of Actuarial Science, Math or related.
- Must have passed one actuarial exam
Rising Junior or Senior at the time of the internship
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the summer internship program
Able to work in a hybrid environment, including approximately 40-50% of the time in our Amelia, Ohio office
Reliable transportation to commute to the office as required
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Actuarial Intern In-office expectation:
In office Tuesday and Thursday.
Student profile:
Junior-level student or higher pursuing Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Summer between junior and senior year is preferred.
