Apply Now Become a part of our caring community The Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. You will establish metrics, provide data analyses, and work directly to support business intelligence. You will evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position. You will work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. You will report to the Director, Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting and will have no direct reports in this role. The Value-Based Care Infrastructure Actuary will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and management of vended complex value-based care initiatives. You will focus on contracting, implementation, data analysis, and actuarial modeling of value-based care performance expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals in value-based care. The Actuary, Analytics/Forecasting ensures data integrity by developing and executing necessary processes and controls around the flow of data. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomalies. You will advise leaders to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. You will make decisions on complex issues regarding job responsibilities and related tasks. You will analyze variable factors to determine the best course of action. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree FSA or ASA plus relevant advanced degree, recent and relevant work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations MAAA Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) Preferred Qualifications Experience with complex value-based arrangements Experience with opportunity analysis Experience in modeling forecasting scenarios Strong collaborative background Experience in communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences Additional Information This is a remote position.
