- The Team You Will Join
- Join our Global Risk Management Group, where you'll play a key role in safeguarding the company, ensuring we deliver on our commitments to customers and stakeholders, and driving responsible growth.
- The Opportunity
- The Actuary, Insurance and Product Risk Management will provide insurance and product risk oversight for Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS) segment, focusing on product risk management, pricing governance, and strategic risk analysis.
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and product/pricing reviews across RIS offerings, ensuring risks are identified, understood, and appropriately mitigated.
- Review and challenge key actuarial assumptions, including mortality, longevity, policyholder behavior, expenses, and investment margins.
- Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and emerging risk evaluations to assess product profitability under varying conditions.
- Evaluate actuarial models and asset-liability management (ALM) strategies to support sound product and portfolio performance.
- Strengthen risk governance by integrating risk management practices into product strategy and providing clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Required Qualifications
- FSA with 5+ years of insurance or consulting experience and strong actuarial expertise.
- Broad business acumen, strategic thinking, and advanced analytical and actuarial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to build partnerships, collaborate across stakeholders, and foster effective teamwork.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Proficient in leveraging approved AI tools, crafting effective prompts, and integrating AI into workflows to improve speed, quality, and efficiency while maintaining ownership of outcomes.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retirement product development or retirement financial modeling is a plus.
- Proficiency in Asset Liability Management (ALM).
Location Expectation:
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. The expected salary range for this position is $116,300- $155,100. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
