We have an incredible foundation and ecosystem in place, but now we're at a time and place where evolution and creativity are needed to take storytelling and the power of data to the next level to empower stakeholders and advance decision making in the business. We champion a "test and learn" culture where experimentation and rapid iteration are prioritized over perfect, finished solutions. We are looking for a dynamic partner that excels in adapting to a new environment, focuses on problem solving through curiosity and collaboration, while approaching their work with service orientation and creativity. As the Senior Manager, Analytics, you will have the unique opportunity to rewrite what Analytics looks like at Navan, helping our global teams work smarter.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute on a global People Analytics strategy, leveraging our data to continue to support the best experience to our employees. Lead, mentor, and scale the People Analytics function; directly manage and develop team members to reach their full potential. Build on the foundational elements of great reporting and Analytics for People & Talent orgs and be ready to contribute to all functions globally, giving insights into topics beyond candidate/employee engagement and retention. Confidently navigate and build upon our existing systems and AI implementations to further elevate workflow, automation, and output. Partner with senior business and HR leaders to identify key insights, metrics, and trends that shape Navan's overarching people strategy. Become a deep subject matter expert of our core business functions and be able to leverage your analytical toolkit to come up with creative solutions to key business problems Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders Share your data expertise and provide thought leadership across the organization, enabling self-service analytics where possible. Translate complex people data into clear, actionable stories that influence business decisions and drive company-wide change. Use tools like SQL, Tableau, and Workday to look beyond standard dashboards and proactively uncover hidden workforce trends. Iterate quickly on pilots and prototypes, prioritizing speed-to-insight and agility over perfection.
What We're Looking For:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data 8+ years of experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge with statistical significance), quantitative research, and experience gathering and interpreting data Ability to interpret complex data results and directly influence business strategies based on those findings. Proven project management skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels of the company. Strong understanding of data visualization principles to translate complex datasets into clear, intuitive, and impactful stories/dashboards. High proficiency in SQL, Thoughtspot, Serval, Workday, and advanced Excel/Google sheets(formulas, pivots, macros, etc.). Growth mindset with a bias for action—you prioritize learning and iteration over waiting for the perfect answer
