The Director of People Analytics serves as a strategic leader responsible for advancing the vision, strategy, and execution of People Analytics across AdventHealth. This role oversees enterprise level workforce insights, advanced data science initiatives, and predictive modeling initiatives that drive informed decision making and improve both team member experience and organizational outcomes. The Director partners closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Clinical leaders to ensure data driven insights inform workforce planning, retention, performance, and patient care excellence. Partners with executive leadership to identify opportunities where data and insights can optimize workforce and operational performance. Cultivates a data driven culture that empowers leaders to make evidence workforce decisions. Oversees the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics models to forecast workforce trends, retention risks, and productivity opportunities. Ensures analytic outputs are actionable, ethically applied, and compliant with regulatory standards (including HIPAA and internal data governance). Guides the creation of intuitive dashboards and executive reports that highlight key workforce and engagement metrics. Translates complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic conversations and organizational change. Promotes transparency and clarity in analytics communications for HR, operational, and clinical stakeholders. Coaches and mentors the People Analytics team to advance technical proficiency and consultative impact. Establishes best practices for workforce data quality, consistency, and interpretation across the enterprise. Ensures all analytics solutions adhere to AdventHealth's data privacy, accuracy, and ethical standards. Participates in governance councils and cross functional initiatives to align analytics priorities with enterprise goals. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), statistical modeling (e.g., Python, R), and HR data systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP). [Required]
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and HRIS integration. [Required]
- Strategic thinking, change leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences.
Education:
- Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Analytics, or related field [Preferred]
Work Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in analytics [Required]
- 3+ years in a leadership role [Required]
- Demonstrated experience building and leading analytics and data science teams, including oversight of model development, experimentation, and statistical validation. [Required]
- Proven success in translating workforce analytics and predictive modeling into measurable business outcomes within healthcare or other highly regulated industries. [Required]
- Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple HR and operational systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP, Kronos). [Required]
- Strong background in linking workforce metrics to organizational performance, productivity, and patient or customer outcomes.
