Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Advanced Analytics to lead our internal analytics capabilities and drive our health plan's enterprise analytics strategy. In this leadership role, you will develop and manage a high-performing team responsible for a broad array of core health plan analytics functions such as: trend analysis, provider network evaluation, cost-of-care modeling, clinical program evaluations, and population health analytics. This role will also be responsible for developing messaging of organizational performance at the executive and board level. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of managed care operations and health plan financials, as well as being well-versed in advanced statistical modeling and machine learning capabilities and technology.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or similar degree. Ten years of experience in analytics, medical economics, informatics, strategic finance or related field required. Experience in advanced statistical models, business intelligence tools, and data visualization software strongly preferred. Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, ROI and program evaluation, and other assumption driven evaluation methodologies. Strong background and deep understanding of healthcare data, business concepts, and insurance required. Specific experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and/or provider led value-based care programs preferred. Proven ability to partner strategically with P/L owners and operational leaders throughout the organization, using data to support their business strategies and achievement of budgets and organizational goals.
