We're currently seeking a motivated and analytically minded Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department and drive continued growth through data-driven insights. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the used vehicle department, including appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management. Leverage data analytics tools to evaluate pricing trends, track sales performance, and forecast demand across multiple vehicle segments. Monitor market data and use insights to refine acquisition and pricing strategies that maintain competitiveness and profitability. Utilize analytical platforms (e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK, Excel ) to develop actionable reports and visual dashboards that inform business decisions. Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed volume, gross, and customer satisfaction goals. Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning and quality control of pre-owned vehicles. Implement targeted marketing and digital advertising strategies informed by data analysis of customer behavior and market opportunities. Maintain compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations. Train, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a data-informed culture that values measurable performance and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven track record of achieving sales and gross profit objectives through data-driven decision making. Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, market analytics, and inventory management tools (e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK). Proficiency in Excel, or similar tools for analyzing sales and inventory performance. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and analytical environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
