REMOTE DIRECTOR / VP-LEVEL INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR

The Opportunity Join a small, highly influential team helping shape how AI is applied across a growing organization. Rather than building AI products yourself, you'll determine where AI can create the greatest business impact and help turn those opportunities into scalable solutions. You'll work closely with senior business leaders and engineers, connecting real-world business challenges with practical AI capabilities and guiding the long-term direction of an AI platform built specifically for the organization's needs. What You'll Do Discover and evaluate opportunities where AI can drive meaningful business outcomes Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand workflows, challenges, and priorities Develop and prioritize a portfolio of AI initiatives based on value, impact, and feasibility Validate concepts through rapid experimentation and prototyping before investing engineering resources Collaborate closely with engineers to shape platform capabilities and long-term strategy Balance competing requests and align stakeholders around a clear direction Continuously test assumptions and refine priorities as new information emerges What We're Looking For Experience leading product, platform, or strategic AI initiatives Strong understanding of generative AI and how it can solve real business problems Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to create structure and direction in highly ambiguous environments Track record of translating ideas into measurable business impact Comfort working alongside engineers while remaining focused on business outcomes Strong judgment, prioritization skills, and ownership mentality Builder mindset with a willingness to experiment and challenge assumptions Nice to Have Experience launching AI-enabled products or internal platforms Background in enterprise software, consulting, investing, or operational strategy Hands-on experience using modern AI tools to prototype and test concepts Experience with platform products or cross-functional organizational initiatives Success operating in startup, transformation, or 0→1 environments Why This Role Influence how AI is applied across an entire organization Own strategic direction rather than project execution Partner directly with senior leaders and decision-makers Help define and evolve a purpose-built AI platform Operate with significant autonomy and visibility Join a lean, high-impact team focused on results over bureaucracy If you're excited about finding high-value AI opportunities, shaping product and platform strategy, and helping an organization unlock the full potential of AI, this is a unique chance to make a lasting impact.
