Job Description

The AI Implementation Engineer is GCS's core technology leader; responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure while driving Claude and AI adoption across the entire organization. You'll own the full lifecycle: identifying where Claude creates value, piloting implementations, managing platform access and integrations, training users, ensuring responsible AI practices, supporting ongoing operations, and measuring impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Claude Platform & AI Infrastructure Manage Claude.ai Pro and Team accounts, user provisioning, licenses, API keys, and access controls Provide first-line support for Claude issues: authentication, API errors, integrations, feature questions Test and validate new Claude features and Anthropic product releases; coordinate deployments Maintain audit logs and ensure compliance with Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy and data privacy Monitor platform performance, usage patterns, and optimize for efficiency and cost AI Strategy & Use Case Development Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities where Claude improves workflows: field documentation, estimating, project planning, technical writing, compliance analysis, automation Partner with department leads to understand pain points and desired outcomes Design and pilot Claude implementations; measure impact before scaling Build Simpro integrations and custom data flows with Claude APIs (e.g., auto-generating job summaries, analyzing project data, supporting Davis-Bacon docs) Create training and enablement resources tailored to each team's role and workflow Provide one-on-one coaching and facilitate departmental workshops IT Operations & Support Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, email, VPN, cloud services, and network connectivity Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and offboarding across GCS systems (Active Directory, email, cloud storage, Simpro) Maintain VPN and remote access infrastructure for field technicians Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of IT support, help desk, or IT operations in a mid-sized business or field services environment 3+ years hands-on with Claude, Claude API, or similar LLMs—comfortable with API docs, authentication, troubleshooting Strong proficiency with Windows, Active Directory and user account management Solid networking fundamentals: VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, TCP/IP Practical experience with REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, OAuth 2.0, API keys Scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar) for automation Strong understanding of cybersecurity: credential storage, encryption, access controls, data privacy Hands-on experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS) and VPN/remote access Excellent communication, you can explain technical concepts to non-technical users and document clearly Preferred Skills & Experience Production experience implementing Claude or Claude API in an operational or enterprise environment Familiarity with Anthropic products (Cowork, Claude Code, Claude in Chrome) Experience with Simpro or similar field service management software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro) IT asset management or inventory tracking
Compensation & Benefits Job Type:
Full-Time, Exempt Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Schedule & Work Environment Expected work schedule: 45-50 hours per week Occasional evening and weekend availability required In-office position based in Lutz, Florida Additional Requirements Successful completion of a background check is required. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Lutz, FL.
