Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in machine learning and image processing. This role is ideal for a recent PhD graduate (or near completion) from a reputable university who is passionate about developing advanced algorithms and working on cutting-edge research and applied solutions. University research experience will be considered valuable professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models with a focus on image processing and computer vision applications. Design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and translate research findings into practical solutions. Work with large datasets for model training, validation, and performance improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production environments. Document methodologies, research findings, and technical approaches clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a reputable university. 1-2 years of experience in machine learning and image processing (academic research experience acceptable). Strong understanding of computer vision techniques and deep learning architectures. Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Solid foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Published research in machine learning, computer vision, or related domains. Experience deploying ML models in real-world applications. Familiarity with GPU computing and performance optimization.
