We're looking for a Principal Engineer & Technical Leader to define the vision and lead a high-impact engineering team from early concept through full product realization. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape both technology strategy and execution, making critical contributions across our aviation security business. What You'll Do Lead & Inspire:

Guide a team of engineers in developing advanced threat detection algorithms using machine learning, deep learning, and classical approaches

Communicate Clearly:

Translate complex technical ideas into clear documentation, reports, and presentations What You Bring Advanced degree (MS with 10+ years' experience, or PhD with 5+ years' experience) in a relevant scientific or engineering field Strong expertise in: Machine vision, data science, and software engineering Object detection and classification problems Algorithm development (traditional + ML + deep learning) Hands-on experience with tools like Python, MATLAB, C++, and Excel across Windows and Linux environments Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras (CUDA experience is a plus) Experience with explainable AI is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
