Job Description

AI Product Engineer at Elite Hedge Fund AI Product Engineer at Elite Hedge Fund in Hoboken, New Jersey Posted in about 9 hours ago.

Type:

full-time Join a lean, elite team at a hedge fund managing more than $60 billion with about 250 people. We're looking for a product-minded engineer to build AI tools that change how our people research, analyze, decide, and communicate. This isn't about bolting a chatbot onto a dashboard. You'll find the problems that matter most, design the workflow, build it end to end, and see it used daily by demanding, highly technical users who will tell you exactly what's working. What you'll do Work closely with investment professionals to find high-value problems where AI can meaningfully change how work gets done. Own features from first sketch and workflow design all the way through to production. Build trustworthy, reliable integrations that users can depend on when real capital is on the line. Design feedback and evaluation loops so products keep getting sharper, not just shipped and forgotten. What you bring A track record of shipping polished full-stack or application software from ambiguous, loosely defined requirements. Strong Python and TypeScript skills, or deep experience with a comparable product stack. Hands-on experience with LLM applications, AI design patterns, and evaluation methods. Real product sense and user empathy, and the ability to translate what users say into what they actually need.
