POSITION SPECIFICS

The Penn State College of Medicine, Radiology AI Lab in Hershey, PA is seeking an Applied AI Engineer (Research Engineer) to join our multidisciplinary team developing artificial intelligence solutions for medical imaging and clinical workflows. You will help build and evaluate AI tools-ranging from image analysis to large language model (LLM) applications-while working closely with radiologists, researchers, and IT staff to translate clinical needs into practical prototypes. This position is ideal for someone with strong programming skills and at least a Master's-level training is preferred or equivalent experience in AI, who can learn quickly and contribute across multiple domains, including computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and multi-modal

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $65,508.00
